The business case for AMRs in manufacturing

We’ve partnered with PULSE Integration to implement one of the largest AMR deployments for materials handling at a billion dollar organization in the consumer goods industry. When compared for productivity and costs against other material handling solutions, OTTO was:

• 10% the cost of a FT equivalent for manual cart movement
• 50% of the costs associated with a driver and a forklift
• 66% the cost of an AGV equivalent

The project resulted in an ROI of less than two years and an IRR of >50%.
